In response to Frederick's comments; in the US cellphones with GPS are relatively common place however the GPS functionality is controlled by the network operators and is generally a subscription factility. If you are interested in sports tracking you should definately invest because your pennies will go towards making it even cooler and we’ve got lots of ideas up our sleeves!

You will need to carry a little GPS receiver with you but that shouldn't be a problem.
